It’s Friday morning, breakfast at Sunrise Bistro then London Hair for Marjorie to get her hair combed out. But this one’s different in a great way.
First, our lovely daughter-in-law, Kiersten is coming up from Richmond Hill, GA ( 2 hour drive) and meeting us at the Bistro. Then she will accompany Marjorie into London Hair. I will then be summarily dismissed.
They plan to meet Carly, a friend from Anne’s Dress Shop days, for a great lunch at Blues House of Wings, ( I call it a Biker Bar). But it’s a fun , dark sports bar that features a great seafood special on Fridays. ( super fried shrimp, slaw and red rice).
I know they’ll have a great visit and lunch and I’ll get some peace and quiet, maybe at the newly opened City Lights Coffee Shop on Line St.
Thank you, Kiersten, for making the trek up to Charleston. I look forward to seeing you at breakfast and after lunch.
What a pleasant twist to our usual Friday routine. We are very predictable. Tomorrow ( Saturday) is the opening of the Charleston Farmers’ Market Weather permitting, we’ll be there for out usual breakfast of Jack’s Crepes. Life is good in the Holy City. Marjorie, Kiersten, I await my next tasking to help any way I can to help make your day fun. Just a short post today. Enuf
