OK. I got another one for you out of the depths of ancient history.
We boys played “ Ring-A-Levio”. Say you had 6 of you out playin. You divide into two sides ( That’s 3 on each side) ( high math). One side would be given a time to go hide and maybe scatter ( within a certain boundary like one or two blocks). Then the other side would seek and try to capture them. Capturing meant grabbing one of them and saying “ Ring-A-Levio caught caught”. Then you bring prisoner to jail in your territory and detain him while the other side tries to break him free ( through some rule y’all made up that day). The “y’all” doesn’t happen in New Yawk. That’s only in the south.
That is my. 70+ year old memory of Ring-A-Levio. Another outside, somewhat rough house, great exercise, and thought provoking game we played in the streets of Flushing, Queens, NY. Circa 1952. Good Lord, I’m old.
